Dumky Trio

Formed in 1988 from the meeting of three young musicians, the Dumky Trio is today one of the most prized French ensembles, with national and international awards to their credit. The trio has taken part in many festivals in France, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Germany, the Czech Republic, Canada and the United States. Alongside recordings of Brahms, Schumann and a CD of Canadian composers that was chosen best classical recording of the year by the Globe and Mail in 1998, recordings made by the Dumky Trio include the complete Trios by Martinu that were acclaimed by the music press.
